Keith was born and raised in Tampa, FL. After high school Keith was an electrical apprentice and and then worked as an estimator/project manager for Professional Electric Construction Inc. Keith then decided to change careers and attended The University of South Florida before moving to Eindhoven, The Netherlands to attend The Hogeschool Eindhoven where he graduated with a degree in Physical Therapy.
Keith is Licensed to practice with the State of Florida and owned a private practice in Tampa. Keith also worked in real estate investing through their former company, KRC Development, Inc. Alongside Becky Clower, Keith now runs Blue Water Properties–a successful Real Estate business and offers property management for fine condos and homes in this area of Guanacaste.

Yira is a native Costa Rican born in Liberia, Guanacaste and raised in Santa Rosa (a small town outside of nearby Tamarindo). Yira attended the National University in Heredia (San Jose) and studied to be an English teacher. However, Yira decided her love was to learn English and not teach it to others. Yira worked with various companies in the area and has extensive knowledge of property management, accounting, and guest services. Yira is our bilingual office manager, with emphasis on the property management side, and prides herself in great customer service.

Jose Mario Baldioceda was born in San Jose, Costa Rica but later moved to the city of Liberia in the province of Guanacaste, where he grew up. Jose currently resides outside of Tamarindo and loves the area for its peace and tranquility. Jose is the third of five brothers and he majored in Tourism at the University in Liberia. Currently Jose is our Rental property supervisor and oversees the maintenance & maid staff and inventory at all of our properties. He has many years of experience working among the tourism field and we are happy to have him here with Blue Water Properties! In his free time, Jose likes to go mountain biking, go fishing and of course, visit the area beaches.

Rob was born July 20th, 1970 in Buffalo New York and raised in Texas and California. He moved to Tamarindo with his wife in 2007 after practicing Real Estate in Solana Beach, California where he specialized in the sales of ocean front condominiums and vacation rentals. Rob is an avid surfer and fisherman and basically loves anything that has to do with the ocean. He was attracted to the area by its warm weather, relaxed lifestyle and of course the perfect surf! In 2009 his wife Marcela (who is Costa Rican) and he were blessed with a little boy, Jimmy. Rob says it is amazing to watch him grow up in Costa Rica on the beach and he wouldn’t want it any other way.

Maria Luisa Borges was born in Guapiles (on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica). She lived in New York City from 2001-2006, where she perfected her English. Upon returning to Costa Rica, Maria Luisa decided to head west to Guanacaste when a job offer presented itself working as a Concierge for Royal Service at the Westin (Formally the Paridisus Resort). She met her Argentinian husband Juan (who is an amazing chef, and cooks for many of our clients) here in Guanacaste. They live in nearby Brasilito and love to call the area home. Maria Luisa is our bilingual Office executive and is here to help our clients with anything they may need while vacationing in paradise.

Katia is originally from Cartago, Costa Rica, the country’s first capital, right outside San Jose. She graduated from Universidad Internacional de Las Americas with a major in education, and she worked as an elementary and high school teacher for 8 years. During her studies she worked with a few companies as a customer service representative and accounting assistant. She moved to Guanacaste in 2006 with her husband and son. Katia works in our main office in Huacas, is fully bilingual, and is part of the accounting department at Blue Water Properties. She has also spent time living in the US, Delaware and Tampa, FL.

An Atlanta, Georgia native, Vicky attended Auburn University, where she received a degree in International Business with a minor in German. She worked in sales for IBM and Eastman Kodak for more than a decade before becoming a full-time mom to her now 12 year old twins. She has been involved in real estate in the United States and Costa Rica for the past ten years and brings both residential and commercial experience. After ten years in limbo, she has finally settled in Costa Rica, where she can be found on either the golf course or a fishing boat when she’s not in the office.

Jarrod grew up in Texas and has traveled and lived in California, New Jersey, Colorado and Costa Rica. After spending a year in Playa Negra in 1994, he knew that he would return some day and call Costa Rica his home. He spent many years in Texas as a licensed real estate broker, opening an office with a partner and working on many real estate deals in his home town Groves, Texas. After many years in the business Jarrod decided to return to Playa Negra, he’s been here for six years and he once again calls Playa Negra his home along with Meaghan Foley and their two children CJ who is five and Jordan who is two. Jarrod enjoys the great opportunity for him to raise his family in such a wonderful paradise. Jarrod is very experienced in real estate in Texas and Costa Rica and has become the friend of many by being honest and reliable. Jim Aleman was born in San Jose, Costa Rica and grew up in nearby Heredia. In 1993 Jim headed north to Boston, Massachusettes where he attended and graduated High School. Jim also had many years’ experience working with Park Lodge Hotels Inc (Franchising Holiday Inn and Courtyard Marriott). After spending 16 years in the USA, Jim came back to his roots and headed to northwest Guanacaste where he now lives full time with his wife, Meybelin and son Brandon. When not in the office, you’ll be sure to see Jim watching the New England Patriots on TV. (He is a big New England fan!). Andrew (“Drew”) Bey was born in upstate New York and moved to Costa Rica in 2006 from Seattle, Washington. After graduating from the University of Washington with a degree in Communications and a minor in Spanish, Drew spent time studying the Spanish language in Costa Rica, Chile, Peru, and the Canary Islands. Before working with Blue Water Properties as a Concierge, Drew spent several years down in Marbella (Southern Nicoya peninsula) selling real estate and doing property management. In 2011 Drew moved north to seek a change in lifestyle. Drew and his Costa Rican wife, Tatiana (born in nearby Santa Cruz), and their one-year old son Tiago now call Huacas home and truly love Guanacaste. Drew is an avid surfer and loves the outdoors. Drew is a wealth of knowledge regarding what to do and see in the country and works as a Concierge for both Blue Water Properties and through Blue Water Adventure Tours (our parent company).

Mathieu was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. After studying languages at CEGEP du Vieux-Montréal and religious studies at Université du Québec à Montréal, he then started to work as a translator for Deluxe Digital Studios, a major company in the film industry. Mathieu started coming to Central America 8 years ago, and has been many times to Nicaragua, Panama, and obviously, Costa Rica. Being able to work from anywhere in the world that has internet, Mathieu decided to try living full time in Costa Rica more than 3 years ago, and does not regret it. He now lives in Tamarindo with his beautiful Costa Rican wife Ana. When he is not working at the office, “Mateo” is most likely riding his motorcycle in the Nicoya mountains or spearfishing near the beaches of Cabo Velas. He is our multilingual concierge services director (he speaks 4 languages!) and he is here to arrange everything for our guests, from an airport transfer to a zip-lining adventure near a Volcano, so that their stay with us is unforgettable while vacationing in paradise.
