I was interested in purchasing property for a vacation home in the northern part of Gunacaste. I had originally worked with a broker out of Tamarindo and was having no luck in finding a suitable piece of land to build a home overlooking the pacific. I found Becky Clower and her firm Blue Water Properties on the internet and started a new search.

Becky was extremely helpful and did a comprehensive search, which found several properties that met my families criteria. You can not find a better realtor!

He helped us with everything from coordinating surf lessons to all excursions…right down to aranging for a van for an early morning return to the airport. It has been over a year since my wife and I bought our condo in Costa Rica. We knew nothing of the caveats of purchasing real estate here.

Lucky for us we were referred to Becky Clower at Blue Water Properties. Becky and her team gave us the service that you would expect from a reputable agent in the U.S.. We have since learned that here in Costa Rica choosing the wrong agent may, and often is, expensive. Becky and her staff continue to provide us professional service.

In a 10-minute walk-through of a unit, we immediately put an offer in, as we couldn’t believe that we were getting a fully furnished, luxury, penthouse unit with an ocean view and in the complex that was closest to the beach! With the economy in the U.S. tanking during and after our stay, we feel we now have an option of moving there and living on my pension, if things don’t work out here. What a relief that is to know! In the meantime, we have a lovely unit that will provide us with many years of solid rent!
