Andres Lanza is a son of a Brazilian Diplomat and an Argentinian mother and was raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he graduated as an Attorney from Buenos Aires University, and worked as a litigation Attorney until he was 30. He then decided to move to Playa Negra, as a Real Estate Investor, at the same time starting the first Real Estate office in the Playa Negra area, which was a former Century 21 franchise. Andres is fluent in English and immediately helped many investors succeed in their dreams of property ownership and development. Besides understanding foreign investor’s needs, he also understands the Latin culture, laws, and bureaucracy of Costa Rica.
After the 2008 Real Estate crisis, and with a 2-year-old son, he decided to move to San Jose, where he received a revalidation of his Attorneys degree and a Notary specialization and graduated with Honors from the prestigious University of Costa Rica, and worked as Law Director, for a Company in the Telecommunications Industry with a Central American presence. Andres heart was always in Playa Negra, as he is an ocean lover, and an avid Surfer, SUP surfer, and Body Surfer, so in 2021 he decided to move back to Playa Negra. He reopened his historic Real Estate office, to continue helping his clients to achieve their own dreams and goals.
Andres, from his arrival to Playa Negra, was helping the community, and their institutions to improve their basic infrastructure, so he was a major influence for the ASADA de Paraiso & Junquillal, to improve and extend the water infrastructure to Playa Junquillal, Playa Blanca and Playa Callejones. He also started and successfully finished, with the help of the community and different government institutions, a new project that today provides water to the communities of Los Pargos, Playa Negra, Lagartillo, and Playa Avellanas. His vast knowledge of the Costa Rican laws, beach areas and the market will make him the perfect guide for a smart and secure investment.
