David Schrey

David is a native Costa Rican, born in Liberia, Guanacaste.  David has visited the Gold Coast of Costa Rica since he was a child. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.

David is the critical resource when buying or selling properties in the Guanacaste region.  His passion for real estate and attention to detail allows his clients peace of mind. David has an outstanding reputation for marketing distinguished properties, and possesses extensive training and knowledge of the local market. 

David is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), America’s largest trade association.  He is also a member of the Cámara Costarricense de Corredores de Bienes Raíces (CCCBR), the first and most important real estate institution nationwide, in which he has served as a member of the Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Costa Rica Global Association of REALTORS® (CRGAR) which includes over 140 members working in many areas of Costa Rica. David is among a mere 3500 elite real estate professionals in over 45 countries with a designation as an International Property Specialist (CIPS).  He is also a LeadingRE Certified Marketing Specialist and has received Social Media training focused on Real Estate. 

David is currently pursuing a law degree at the University of Costa Rica.  He looks forward to specializing in Real Estate Law. At Blue Water, David offers extensive market knowledge, is devoted to his clients, and has a keen ability to coordinate the details of sophisticated transactions.
