Omar Garcia

Born in Mexico and raised along Guanacaste’s coasts (specifically, the communities of Brasilito, Flamingo, and Tamarindo), Alexis Omar Garcia has long known his place in our community: as an active participant, with an emphasis on “active”!

Indeed, the Pacific Ocean was Omar’s first love: Nurturing a lifelong passion for water, he is an accomplished swimmer and surfer; in his downtime, you’ll still often find him seeking thrills and catching waves, wherever they’re the most challenging. When on land, Omar also pursues an outdoor lifestyle, mainly while skateboarding, biking, and hitting the gym. 

In 2013, while still a teenager, Omar had the unique opportunity to take a course from the Costa Rica Global Association of REALTORS® (CRGAR). It changed his life. It was there that he first recognized the significance of real estate in creating and shaping communities. And it was there that his future career first sparked. 

After pursuing higher education at the University of Costa Rica and the Universidad Latina, where he gained valuable insights into Business Management, Omar returned home. Nourishing his lifelong connection to the Guanacaste coast and abiding love for this area, paired with practical area knowledge and dedication to his community, Omar embraced the career that would allow him to contribute to his community, from the ground up. 

Today, Omar leverages his deep-rooted connection to the Guanacaste coast, his hyper-local knowledge, and his steadfast dedication to finding the perfect property, while helping his clients navigate Nosara’s unique real estate market.
