Roberto Rodriguez

Roberto Rodriguez helps buyers, sellers, and investors navigate real estate across Guanacaste’s North Pacific coast — from Playa Avellanas up through Hacienda Pinilla, Tamarindo, Playa Grande, Playa Conchal, Brasilito, Flamingo, and Potrero. He is a licensed agent with Blue Water Properties of Costa Rica, the largest independent real estate brokerage on the country’s North Pacific coast.

Roberto’s path into real estate is built on twenty years of hands-on experience in Costa Rica’s coastal service and property industries. He started working in hospitality in 2006, at 17 years old, in La Fortuna near Arenal Volcano. In 2011, he moved to Guanacaste, and in 2014, he stepped into property management — developing a working understanding of what owning property in Costa Rica actually requires, from maintenance and seasonality to tenant dynamics and paperwork. He joined Blue Water Properties in 2017 as a sales assistant, and in 2021, he became a full-time real estate agent. That layered experience — hospitality service, property operations, and years inside the sales side of the business — is what he brings to every client relationship today.

Clients work with Roberto for local knowledge built from over a decade of combined property management and real estate experience, and for a client-first approach where honesty and integrity are the cornerstones of every transaction. Fully bilingual and bicultural — born in Costa Rica and raised in part in North Carolina — he moves fluidly between English- and Spanish-speaking clients and gives each the same clear, patient guidance. He holds a degree in digital marketing and is a licensed CRGAR realtor and member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR).

Based in Guanacaste, Roberto spends his time off on a mountain bike trail, playing a night soccer match, or at the beach with his kids and his dog. He believes the best real estate guidance comes from truly knowing the coast you’re helping people call home.
