Veronica Castro

Though Veronica was born and raised in San José, she spent her childhood vacations visiting her family’s farm in Santa Cruz, Guanacaste. It was here that she fell in love with the Gold Coast and, after completing her university education, followed her heart home to the North Pacific. In her free time, you’ll most often find her traveling, surfing, sailing, cooking, spending time with her dogs, gardening, and always planning her next road trip with friends.

For more than 20 years, Veronica worked in luxury and boutique hotels around Costa Rica, as well as for property management companies in the Tamarindo and Nosara areas. She has also lived in many of the most popular destinations in the country and this, paired with her background in high-end tourism and hospitality – she holds a double Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management and Gastronomy from Le Cordon Bleu! – has granted Veronica unparalleled insight into travel trends in Costa Rica.

At Blue Water Properties, Veronica joins our Sales department in Nosara, where she will leverage her hospitality, management, and people skills to provide exceptional service to our clients.
