At the entrance to the Hermosa Heights gated community, 24/7 gated security ensures peace of mind and controlled access, so you can rest easy, whether you’re in residence or away from home.

Hermosa Heights offers the kind of convenience that will matter to your day-to-day life. A network of paved roads connects the community and its amenities – a true boon, as the location and convenience can’t be eclipsed: Hermosa Heights offers onsite dining and nightlife, entertainment, and more (see below), with easy access to shopping, dining, and other amenities in nearby Hermosa and Playas del Coco. Just 30 minutes to the international Guanacaste Airport (LIR)!

While many homes at Hermosa Heights offer private pools, the community’s resort pool serves as a central hub and gathering space for families, neighbors, and friends. The large pool encompasses two levels – one for lounging in the Jacuzzi and another for a steady dedication to fun – as well as two waterslides and a swim-up bar.

Honor your wellness goals at Hermosa Height’s gym and spa (known as Aguas de Hermosa). The onside gym offers weights and cardio equipment, while the luxury spa promises massages, facials, and other treatments. You can even request in-home service!

Whenever you please, book a round at Hermosa Heights’ onsite mini-golf course. The Costa Rica-inspired course promises plenty of themed play and land-and-water challenges, for a hint of nostalgia paired with plain good fun.

You won’t need a home theater when you live in the Hermosa Heights gated community! Unique for the area, the community’s onsite movie theater – Embassy Club de Artes – offers stadium-style movie seating (100 seats!) and a large movie screen, and offers a rotating schedule of new releases, blockbusters, and soon-to-be favorites every day! The movie theater is also open to the public.
When you don’t want to cook for yourself, head to The Ranchito, the community’s poolside grill, which serves everything from a hearty Tico breakfast to lunch and dinner. You can also grab a great bite to eat at The Sports Bar, an American-style bar where the game is (almost) always on.
The trails at Hermosa Heights climb through the community’s 45 hilly acres to afford insight into the area’s forest ecosystems, stunning views of the Pacific and surrounds (including Playa Panamá and Papagayo), and, on a clear day, vistas that reach straight into distant Nicaraguan landscapes.
If you have kids (or when the grandkids are visiting), you’ll likely spend plenty of time at Playa Hermosa, only a short walk away. But when you’re not at the beach, the kids will likely be at the onsite Kids’ Club, appropriately outfitted with a netted trampoline, playground equipment, a basketball court, and a games room with ping-pong and mini-pool tables.
