Hailing from Cartago – one of the coldest places in Costa Rica and quite the contrast to Guanacaste! – Ian Solano has traveled coast-to-coast throughout the country and now revels in the joys of an outdoor beach lifestyle. His long-held passion for serving others, paired with his responsibility, energy, and excellent communication, have helped him stand out as an exceptional agent and an ally to his clients.
Prior to joining Blue Water Properties, Ian played pivotal roles as the right-hand man to the Manager and Sales Director of two renowned tourism companies in Costa Rica. He later relocated to Guanacaste, where he assumed the role of concierge for over 140 properties in the Playa Hermosa and Coco areas. Ian then pivoted to real estate, where he worked for nearly two years before joining Blue Water Properties.
As a result, Ian manages a profound knowledge of Costa Rican geography, as well as the accommodations and properties most loved by tourists. This, paired with a degree in Marketing and Sales, and more than a decade of watching Guanacaste evolve and develop over time, have provided Ian with valuable insights into our market.
